Overland Ready Mixed (ORM) is just about to wrap up work on a bike trail in Central City. The goal of the project is to create a safe walking and biking area for the people of Central City. They started work on this project at a new park in the middle of town and since have been finishing up on the southeast side of town around a subdivision (as shown in photos).

So far, ORM has supplied approximately 662 cubic yards of concrete. The General Contractor is Diamond Engineering of Grand Island. The project should be completed at the end of April 2021.

Overland Ready Mixed has been supplying concrete to the new Merrick County Hospital since the fall of 2020. The project is located on the west side of Central City. The 22.4 acres of land was donated by the Dinsdale family and will be known as the Dinsdale Health Campus. This has been a great project to be a part of since the location of the hospital is very close to the Central City plant. There will be approximately 3000 cubic yards of concrete supplied to the project.

Overland Sand & Gravel has also helped to supply a lot of fill dirt as well as crushed concrete for this project.

The General Contractor is Sampson Construction. Lottman Carpenter Construction of Lincoln is the subcontractor for foundations and floor. Rezac Construction of Lincoln is going to pour all the exterior concrete. The project is expected to be completed late 2021 or 2022.
