Ready Mixed Concrete
Standard Concrete
Heavyweight Concrete is made with heavy natural aggregates such as barytes or magnetite as well as manufactured aggregates such as iron ore.  Density is around 190 – 260 lb/ft3.  Normal weight concrete density is around 140 lb/ft3.
Lightweight Concrete
Lightweight Concrete
Lightweight Concrete is composed of lightweight coarse aggregate materials such as rotary kiln fired expanded shale, clay or slate materials.  In-place density is typically 90 – 115 lb/ft3 compared to normal weight concrete which has a density range of 140 – 150 lb/ft3.  Lightweight Concrete reduces the weight of concrete structures which then can allow for smaller supportive beams, columns and footings.
High Strength Concrete
High Strength Concrete
High Strength Concrete is a special blend of concrete that has strength greater than 6,000 psi or 42 MPa (megapascal).  Special blends are created based on the needed application.  Common uses are tall structures and bridges.
High Early Concrete
High Early Concrete
High Early Concrete, sometimes called Fast-Setting or Fast-Curing Concrete, is a great solution when you need to save time and money.  With no reduction in strength, High Early Concrete can achieve 20 MPa (megapascal), or about 2,900 psi, in as little time as 24 hours.
Rapid Drying Concrete
Rapid Drying Concrete
Rapid Drying Concrete is scientifically engineered to consume excess water which then eliminates moisture issues, eliminates the need for moisture migration systems, and saves on construction costs because drying times are heavily reduced.
Fiber-Reinforced Concrete (FRC)
Fiber-Reinforced Concrete is a composite mix in concrete and different types of fibers such as steel fibers, glass fibers, synthetic fibers and natural fibers. Adding fibers to concrete mixes can reduce cracks and increase impact resistance.
Shotcrete
Shotcrete is more of a process than a product or material.  Shotcrete, or sprayed concrete, is concrete or mortar conveyed through a hose at a high velocity onto a surface, and is typically reinforced with rebar, steel rods or steel mesh.
Flowable Fill & Controlled Low Strength Material (CLSM)
Similar to Grout, Controlled Low Strength Material (CLSM) is sometimes referred to as flowable fill, and is a lower strength type of high slump concrete often used for non-structural applications such as filling old tunnels or unused sewer lines.  Flowable Fill is a self-compacting low strength concrete with a flowable consistency, similar to a liquid, and is often times substituted for compact gravel.  Flowable Fill should not be used in place of standard concretes, but is often used for retaining wall backfill, tunnels, sewers, and utility trenches.

Polished Concrete
Polished Concrete
Polished concrete is a good sustainable design flooring option because it makes use of the materials already present. Most modern buildings are built on a concrete slab; polishing the exposed concrete eliminates the energy and additional material costs consumed by applying a floor covering.
Stained Concrete
Stained Concrete
Stained Concrete can create rich new color in a concrete floor while preserving its natural look.  Stains are either acid-based or water-based, and can be applied to interior and exterior concrete surfaces.
Exposed Aggregate Concrete
Exposed Aggregate Concrete
Exposed Aggregate Concrete is created when the top layer of cured concrete is stripped away, transforming the surface into an array of different sized aggregates.  This is a great option for driveways, patios and interior solutions such as basement floors.
Stamped Concrete
Stamped Concrete
Stamped Concrete, or often referred to as textured or imprinted concrete, is a great alternative to using other more expensive materials to achieve a sophisticated look, similar to the look of flagstone, tile, brick, pavers and wood.

Sustainable Concrete

Filtercrete Pervious Concrete
Pervious Concrete
Filtercrete Pervious Concrete, also sometimes called porous or permeable concrete, is a special type of concrete with a high porosity used for concrete flatwork applications that allows water from precipitation and other sources to pass directly through. It is made using large aggregates with little to no fine aggregates, allowing water to pass through the concrete slab.
