Kearney Ready Mixed Supplies Concrete for New Bypass Interchange

The ribbon cutting by Governor Heineman on August 27 indicated the opening of Kearney’s newly completed Interstate 80-East Kearney Bypass Interchange and the completion of Phase 1 of the planned bypass around Kearney.  Kearney Ready Mixed provided concrete to Commercial Construction Inc. for the deck of the bridge spanning Interstate 80.

Phase two of the project will begin in 2014 with an estimated build time of two years.  The second phase will extend the four lanes north and add a U.S. Highway 30 interchange and overpass.
